Shri Shivaji Shikshan Prasarak Mandls, B.P.Sulakhe Commerce College, Barshi Library, has a long tradition since 1969 having rich collection of 43,351+ print books, 23 Print Journals and magazines, subscribed online databases with e-books and e-journals. Right from its inception, it has become the “heart of the campus”. The library occupies a prominent and integral part in the teaching and learning process of the institution.

The library aims to fulfil all kinds of educational, informational and recreational needs of the students, teachers, researchers and other users by providing them with a wide range of books,B.P.Sulakhe Commerce College Library is a combination of traditional print resources as well as e-resources, providing the services accordingly. Library has 2000+ student members and 48+ teaching and non-teaching staff as library members. The centre has a separate Digital section with 07 computers having Broadband Internet Connectivity which provides access to Subscribed and Open access Databases like INFLIBNET's N-LIST, NDL (National Digital Library)Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), free e-resources to teachers and students.

As an extension activity and social activity, the Library organizes programs on Birth and Death Anniversaries, Days of National Importance etc. following the Government Resolutions as published annually by Government of Maharashtra.

Every year library organizes various activities like Book Exhibition, ,Six Hour Continuous Reading of Books , Quiz competition , Lectures on various topic. Such activities and events not only encourage reading habits in students but events like Book Exibition , Book Fair make teachers and students aware of the Latest Publications in the Universe of Knowledge. Digital Library, ', WebOPAC , Information literacy programme, reprographic services, reference service are some of the special services provided by the library

Due to the working of this Mandal, thousands of students not only got educated but also morally built up by the philosophy of Mamasaheb as, “Simple leaving and high thinking”, “Work is worship” etc. By observing his sincere, fully devoted, entirely selfless work for the upliftment of under privileged classes, many institutions, organizations honored him by offering various awards.

The College library plays the role of a counselor to the students rather than a caretaker of the book collection and engaged in technical services of acquisition, classifying, cataloguing and lending books to the members.
